We are excited to announce that we are resuming grants to the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention! This convention is an amazing opportunity to connect with other families and friends across the US and world, while at the same time learning from the wide variety of classes offered by world-renowned experts!

This convention is an amazing opportunity to connect with other families and friends across the US and world, while at the same time learning from the wide variety of classes offered by world-renowned experts!

for the 53rd Annual National Down Syndrome Congress Convention.
Four Conference Opportunities:
- The General Conference is designed for parents, adult siblings, grandparents, caregivers, medical and educational professionals.
- The Youth and Adults Conference is planned and presented by self advocates for self advocates. It is fun, educational, and empowering for individuals with Down Syndrome, 15 and older.
- The Sibling Conference is run by young adult siblings who are alumni of the NDSC. This conference is open to 7th-12th grade.
- Kid’s Camp-Allows parents to bring their children to the conference and have child care provided. Kid’s Camp is available for children with Down Syndrome, their friends, and siblings from the ages of 6 weeks to 14 years old.
GRANT DETAILS:
- Each grant award will be up to $2,500 per family.
- Eligible reimbursements: registration, kid’s camp, travel, and lodging. Food is not an eligible expense.
- Receipts must be submitted for reimbursement of approved expenses after the conference.
- Active members of DSAW-Fox Cities are eligible for a grant EVERY 4 years.
- Up to 4 grants will be awarded for 2025.

GRANT CATEGORIES:
- General DSAW Fox Cities Member (residence in Calumet, Outagamie or Winnebago counties)
- New DSAW Family: Open to families whose child with Down Syndrome is 3 years old or younger OR has adopted a child with Down Syndrome within the last 3 years.
- Self Advocate: Youth and adult conference for individuals with Down Syndrome age 15 and older. Must register and attend the Young Adult Conference. Grant coverage eligible to family and/or friends who attend with self advocate.
- Sibling: Siblings of individuals with Down Syndrome entering grades 7th-12th fall 2024. Must register and attend the Sibling Conference. Grant coverage eligible to all family members attending the conference.
