Music Therapy
Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month from 10am-10:45am
Children ages 0-6 and their parents from around the state are welcome to sing and move along with us at Music Therapy! Sarah, our friend and certified music therapist who hosts music therapy at DSAW’s state headquarters, will lead us.

Grandparents Group
First Tuesday of the month from 4pm-5pm
DSAW invites all grandparents with a loved one with Down syndrome to share and connect with fellow grandparents. We’ll be meeting every first Tuesday of the month to share the joys and tell stories of our grandchildren with Down syndrome.
Grandparents Group meets in-person at the DSAW Office. Not local? Meet with us over Zoom!

Zoom Zumba
Tuesdays from 5pm-6pm
This fitness sensation combines Latin and international rhythms to produce a workout that is both fun and effective! Our friend and certified Zumba instructor at Dance Life Studio, Nita, will lead us through a 60-minute session with easy to follow steps and upbeat music that might even make you forget that you are exercising! More a party than a chore, getting in shape with Zumba is appropriate for individuals at all levels of fitness. Please ensure that you have plenty of space to move around, that you are wearing the appropriate footwear, comfortable clothing and that you have water. Please ensure that you keep hydrated.

Join us for a virtual “hangout” to stay connected with your friends! Tweens 14+ and self advocates are invited to hang out with us virtually on Wednesdays. We play games, Kahoots, and build friendships!

Prenatal Diagnosis Group
Second and Fourth Wednesday of the month from 8pm-9pm
A completely non-judgmental support group for women who have recently received a prenatal Down Syndrome diagnosis and wish to seek personal support. The group is for women in various stages of their pregnancy and decision-making journey. We welcome everyone, regardless of any decisions made, to attend our judgment-free group. Join us as we gather to provide support and share our experiences.

Tiny Tots - Virtual
Tuesdays 9am-9:30am
DSAW Tiny Tots meets once a week on Tuesday mornings for songs and signs! Parents join in to help their child move, groove, and learn during each session. At the end of the class, participants learn a new sign related to their lesson. Parents are encouraged to chat and share their experiences.

Moms’ Book Club
Third Thursday of the month from 8pm-9pm
Calling all moms, grandmas, and female caregivers! We want to get together once a month to meet, talk about a positive/inspiring book, and share support. Join us!
